Shark Lagoon at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach opens its doors on Friday nights from 6pm – 9pm, free to the public. I went there last week to check it out with the Little Man, my dad and sister. It’s so cute! I know Little Man is a little young to fully appreciate it, but he was interested in it nonetheless! The activities are great: the Touch Tank offers a chance to pet baby sharks and sting rays, the large observation tank is a window to the world of a variety of big sharks and rays, and there’s even crabs to watch! They have a snack cart open, and they bring in a band to add some lively music. Its a fun night out!
There’s also lots of good eats in and around the Aquarium if you want to make it a full night out!
Don’t forget to validate your parking in the gift shop on your way out! (its $8)
